Your Community Group Can Make Giving the Norm on #Do1Give Day

Let’s make giving the norm on #Do1Give Day! Community groups make a huge difference in the world. These last couple of years have been a struggle for everyone including community groups, who until just recently, have not been able to meet in person or be out in groups in the community. Luckily, the world is starting to right itself and people are once again able to meet and work in groups.

This means that this year, #Do1Give Day can once again be celebrated, and everyone can participate – either virtually or in person. Giving is easy to do online, through social media or personally. Share a smile, pick up litter, send a kind note are just a few of the things that can make the world a happier place. And when community groups come together – the giving can be even greater. #Do1Give Day is the chance for your group to make giving the norm.

Giving is Good For Everyone #Do1Give

Giving is proven to make you feel good. Researchers have proven that giving gives you a DOSE of happiness:

D – dopamine rushes through your body increasing your feeling of pleasure, called “the giver’s high”

O – oxytocin increases boosting your sense of trust, love, optimism and connection

S – seratonin increases which makes you feel happy and calm

E – endorphins kick in and give you a natural euphoric rush

Do you need more reasons to giving? here is one more giving fact that should seal the deal on why we should give. The fell good effect of giving is felt by the giver, the receiver and any observers. All three will feel good when an act of giving is complete. The final giving bonus is your acto of giving will encourage others to give as well, creating a ripple effect that can move around the world.

Commit to #Do1Give on April 28, 2022 With Your Community Group

Giving can be easily incorporated into what you do. Its as easy as 1-2-3.
