  • Make the Promise and Create a Ripple – Post on your company’s social media. Ask your clients and followers to join with you to make one big positive impact.

5 Easy Ways to #Do1Give at Work

It’s easy. It’s fun, it’s engaging, it’s collaboration with your team at its best! Most of all it’s world changing good.

1) Grow the Gratitude:

Create a big wall where you can grow the gratitude in your office. All you need is some markers, post it notes and a big empty wall.  Ask every person you see to find one thing or person they are grateful for in your workplace and post it on the wall. Gratitude grows positivity with each message. Share the messages on social media!

2) Recycle for Good:

Collect cans and bottles that can be returned to a local recycling depot for cash. Use garbage cans with big signs encouraging everyone to drop their recycling for good.  Research a local charity in your area that will pick the recycling up and use the donation to support their work.

3) Coat / Work Clothes Drive:

The need for warm coats and clothes that are suitable for business or interviews are always in demand. Partner with a local shelter or support program in your community. Ask everyone in the office to bring in what is needed to support the less fortunate.

4) Community Clean-Up

Pick a time and place to bring your community together for a neighbourhood clean-up. Walk the streets, parks or beach area to clean up your hood. Provide garbage bags,  rubber gloves (if possible) and sort the recycling as you go!

5) Lunch Money Day

Ask everyone in the office to bring their lunch to work on #Do1Give Day. Ask them to donate what they normally spend on lunch or coffee to a charity you all agree on. Go one step further and ask your company to match all funds raised to double your donation! Changing the world has never been so easy but it takes everyone to make the promise.

Sign Up for #Do1Give Day  and follow along on April 17, 2019 on Facebook and Instagram.
