Share a Giving #Selfie To Inspire Global Giving

Did you know that when you share your giving #selfie is inspires others to give too!? #Do1Give Day, our signature event which was on April 27, 2022, proved that when you  share a giving #selifie others are inspired! Social media can be used for good, and sharing your giving selfie proves this to be true!

We know that giving helps three people – those who give, those who receive the give and those who witness a give. If you are in a remote area and no one sees you giving, then share your give through a giving #selfie and touch others who are on your social media platforms! That does count as witnessing a give! The most popular hashtags for your giving selfie are #365give #kindnessrocks #giveeveryday. If you want to really inspire others to give, use the #tagurit hashtag and tag 5 people who are following you on social media so they then give. Pretty easy stuff for sure, and effective when you start doing it.

Tell People on Social How Giving Makes You Feel

Whether you choose to do a video or an image, tell people how you feel when you give. Sharing the positive emotions of #happiness #mentalhealth  #health #wellness #inspiration #happiness #mindset #positivity #positivevibes #happy when you give will show others that a simple act of giving will change your mood, will increase your happiness and will change the world and you!

When you review the research on giving and happiness, you will see how easy it is to increase your happiness, do simple acts to increase the happiness of others around you, and positively affect your community, your surroundings or those around you.

Sharing how you feel once you give will encourage and inspire us to try it! Once they try giving and feel good about it, they will continue. Understanding the ripple effect of giving makes it even more powerful!

Inspire Others on Social Media To Give!

We can use our social media channels to share where we are, what we are doing (or not doing), use it for our business, or share opinions. But what if we used social media for social good? What if we used our channels to inspire others to change the world, by giving, by being good citizens, by being the change you want to see in the world! Inspiring others to do positive actions in the world is a great way to use your social media. Your giving #selifie could inspire one, a few or a hundred people to give! Make it fun, change it up #animalgive #planetgive #peoplegive and see how it changes not just you but others as well.

Educate Others About The Power of Giving and Kindness

Yes, you can do this! Decide what you want your social media pages to do. Do you want to educate and inspire others through giving and sharing information? Do you want to show others that they can positively make a change in themselves and their communities by doing something kind, by doing something thoughtful, by giving once a day. I have put my hand up and have not looked back since. It makes your social media a great go to place for you, your family and your friends. If you are working imagine what it can do for your reputation at work!
