That’s right – #Do1Give Day 2022 is up and ready! April 28, 2022 will mark the 5th Annual #Do1Give Day to celebrate global giving for a happier planet.

Since inception in 2018, #Do1Give Day has inspired over 155,000 gives in 80 countries around the world. Add the ripple effect of giving and that’s over 465,000 people with an increase of happiness in just one day!

What is #Do1Give Day?

April 28th is your chance to join the global movement of giving that is creating a happier planet for everyone. This is the day where one small act of giving creates a ripple effect that is felt around the world and contributes to global happiness. Your small act of giving will make a world of difference.

What is a “Give”?

One “give” is an act of giving. It can be anything small – from a smile, to holding a door, to helping someone carry their groceries – to anything big – donating your time, money or expertise to an organization or a group; adopting a pet; helping to build a home or school – or anything in between. Any form of giving to help people, animals or the environment is a step towards building a happier planet for everyone. It’s spreading love in little ways all over the world!

Why One Day?

#Do1Give Day was created as a day to raise awareness about giving and creating a ripple of happiness that reaches all corners of our globe. Imagine what it would feel like if every person on our planet did one thing to make others happy. The world would experience a wave of happiness like never before!

Spread the Love This #Do1Give Day!

This year our goal is to spread the love. No one disputes that the world has experienced unprecedented hardships and challenges for the last couple of years – and is still experiencing serious and life-threatening situations – and could use a good dose of love. We can all help by spreading the love on April 28th and doing a small act of giving to show our neighbours and our planet that we want to spread some love to make others happy.

Make April 28th, 2022, your day to commit to one small – or big – act of giving to spread the love. Our goal this year is 50,000 acts of giving on one day. Mark your calendar and tell your friends. Spread the love on social media and #Do1Give for your planet to make a happier world for everyone.

Check out our free #Do1Give day resources and share it with your friends, your colleagues, your family and your classmates. We have lots of resources and tools to get you going and help you give!

Help us reach a global goal of 50,000 gives and spread the love on April 28th.
