Lending a Hand to Poverty & Homelessness One Can At A Time

How can you change the world one can at a time?

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Hank Brennan, a North Vancouver resident since 1995. In 2008, I created a recycling program to help the homeless and needy families in our communities. For nearly a decade now, “Hank’s Christmas Glitter” continues to be run by volunteers who contribute their valuable time to helping our less fortunate neighbors on the North Shore. For nearly 10 years, our contributors have donated their refundable bottles and cans which we convert into gift cards from our local coffee shops, major food chain stores and fast food restaurants and are handed out to the less fortunate people on the North Shore and surrounding area. We’re making a difference… One Can At A Time – Every Day – All Year Round. Read more about Hank’s Program in our 365giving series.
