Happy World Wildlife Day – 6 Easy Animal Gives On World Wildlife Day

Shake it up a bit today and think about making an animal give on World Wildlife Day. People gives are a popular give on our site, but animal gives are a fun and important give to make. We have put together 6 animal gives that you can add to your giving list. These are easy gives that make a difference, some you can do right from your phone, others that can be completed in your neighbourhood.

We Love These Animal Gives!

Sign an online petition – Supporting animals can be done through merely signing a petition. The Petition Site has a list of animal petitions you can sign right now for your daily give. Find a cause or issue that resonates with you and sign away.

Click to Give for Animal Welfare – This is a click to give from the Greater Good website. If you normally gravitate toward links that support people, click their animal welfare link to support our furry friends.

Go Vegan For One Day – I love this give and have to say it is a lot of fun. Cut out meat, fish, eggs, butter, and any foods that may have these ingredients for one day. Vegan recipes are easy and we found a great list of vegan recipes to get you started, vegan tacos included! Yum!

Like the World Wildlife Facebook Page – Give them a like today. If you have a favorite animal organization, give them a like instead. If liking a Facebook page is not enough for you, give them a shout out on your social media channels. Spreading the word about animal support organizations brings awareness to others. A great give of the day!

Take A Friend’s Dog For a Walk – Do you have an elderly friend who could use help walking their dog? Is a friend of your not well and could do with some help with their pets as they recover? If you know of someone in this situation, help them out with their pet today. Walk their dog, play with the cat, talk to their birds, change the water in their fish tank. The animals will love you for it!

Go to the Local Zoo or Aquarium – These not for profit agencies play an important role in the education and research of our marine life and animals. Visit a local zoo or aquarium and find out what they do behind the scenes as you roam through their exhibits. If you are not able to visit, make a $5 donation instead to support the work they do.
