#Do1Give Day 2020 is Ready – Make The Promise!

Save the Date – April 15, 2020. Our annual giving event, #Do1Give Day is ready to change the world in more countries and with more gives on one day! Ready for a our giving goal? This year we want our giving community to complete 100,000 gives in over 50 countries! This is our largest goal yet and we know we can do it. To date we have counted 90,000 gives in 2018 and 2019. Once we reach our goal this year, #Do1give Day 2020 will have added just under 200,000 gives to make our world a happier place. Now that is worth giving for!

Schools, families, individuals, businesses and community clubs make the #Do1Give Day promise to participate. It is a fun activity that takes just a few minutes to complete on April 15th. So why not make the promise to give and participate in this global event that shows others the benefits of giving and changes the world, one give at a time.  Discover more about #Do1Give Day 2020 on our website and see how you can participate!

#Do1Give Day is fun, easy and really does change the world. Imagine thousands of people completing one act of giving and showing kindness on one day! Now that rocks our world and yours!

How Does #Do1Give Day Change The World?

Have you read our Happiness Research? When we complete a kind action through a daily give our entire body changes and so does the person who receives our give. The chemicals we need to make us feel happy – neurotransmitters – increase. The chemicals that create stress decrease. When thousands of people decide to give on one day, the world does become a happier place. Let’s do the math. 100,000 people give. 100,000 people, or animals, or the planet receive the small act of giving. 200,000 beings are effected by the gives complete. Now that is wonderful!

Now here is the bonus. When someone feels good after receiving a give, they are inspired to pass a give forward, to complete a give to someone or something else. The ripple of giving starts and literally ripples around the world. This giving thing could go far! We have witnessed how far giving can go and want to share the benefits of this easy act of kindness.
