Day 343: Give 343

Could you imagine living with no light in your home?

Could you imagine living without the money to afford light in your home?

As a mother I’m not sure how I would care for my family. How do you even cook a meal to feed them?

What if for just $1.25 you could provide light in someone’s home that was eco-friendly and reused the plastic bottles that are floating all over our oceans causing terrible environmental damage.

A Liter of Light is lighting up homes all over the world that may not have access to electrical power or the money to pay for such a luxury. It’s an amazing invention!

1 large plastic bottle filled with water and bleach reflects the suns light into a home creating a natural 55 watt light bulb.

A Liter of Light has helped create a better life for over 10,000 homes to date with a goal of 1,000,000 by 2012. Sustainable, eco-friendly, cost effective and reusing plastic that would otherwise keep filling up our landfills and oceans.

Today I made a donation to bring light to 8 homes. If we all made a small donation today we could help them reach their goal of 1,000,000 homes by 2012. Make a donation and light up someone’s life today.

Time Commitment: 1 minute to make an online donation

Cost: $10.00
