A Daily Dose of Happiness for the Classroom

Its back to school time and we have just the thing for more happiness for the classroom starting the first day of school. In many countries around the world teachers are already planning for a new school year or have already started. Educators are always looking for new ideas that will engage students of all ages and learning abilities all while staying on task to meet curriculum objectives.  Not an easy task for anyone.

Research tells us that when children are happy and emotionally regulated it is their optimum time to learn. Their brains and bodies are ready to absorb and understand information at a faster and more effective rate. Research also shares that happy students reduces stress for teachers and increases their own happy as well.

So how does a teacher intertwine learning goals, curriculum objectives and happiness to a classroom?

What about a Daily Dose of Happiness?  It’s as easy as 1,2,3 and it’s powered by your students.  We call it the 365give Challenge.
